Obituary for Vi MacKenzie
Peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Lambton Meadowview Villa in her beloved Petrolia, Edith Violet MacKenzie passed away at the age of 100. Beloved wife to the late Douglas Stinchcombe, and the late Don MacKenzie. Loving mother to Marian (Gus) Milot, the late Mike (Anne) Stinchcombe, Dave (Helen) Stinchcombe, the late Joy (the late Jeff) Burkholder and Doug (Debbie) Stinchcombe. Proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister to the late Stan (Iris) Potts and the late Barb (the late Leo) Morand. Vi lived in many different cities, spent many winters in Florida and many summers in Bayfield but always considered Petrolia her favourite home. The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa for their dedicated care of Vi over the years. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Jay Funeral Home (519) 882-0100.
