Obituary for Doreen Harper
Harper – Doreen Barbara (nee Ferguson) of Fergus, ON passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial with family by her side on Monday Jan 8, 2018. She was in her 84th year and is predeceased by her husband Robert Douglas (2000). Loving mother of Glen (Colleen) of Vaughan, ON and Susan and Katherine of Fergus, ON. Devoted grandmother to a number of fur-babies, particularly her two grand-dogs, Fergie and Kiki. Doreen will be sadly missed by her lifelong friends, whom she thought of as family; Nancy and Gord Gardiner of Trenton, ON and Norma Wilson and all of the Bullard and Wilson family members in Kitchener, ON and in the USA. She will be greatly missed by her St. Andrew’s friends and all her friends in Fergus. The family would like to extend an enormous thank you for all the loving care our mom received from Dr. Mark Sugamori, everyone on his medical team, and everyone at Groves. We would also like to thank everyone from CCAC and all the loving PSWs who have become family. Family and friends are welcome to visit at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St W, Fergus from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 followed by a service at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen’s memory to Groves Memorial Hospital for the New Groves Hospital Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A.
