Obituary of Arnold Smith
The family announces with great sorrow that on January 4, 2018 at the age of 69 Arnold Reginald Arthur Smith (Reg) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his cherished puppies Bert and Ernie. Reg was born in Kirkland Lake. Attended Laurentian University in Sudbury Ontario and worked in Government Services for over 25 years. Reg had a great love for his puppies and spent many wonderful days enjoying their company. He was an avid chef and thoroughly enjoyed the company of family, great friends and delicious food.
Reg was son to the late Arnold Reginald Arthur Snr and Irene Smith. Brother to the late Karen Donahue. Cousin to the late Laurie Stuthridge. Father to his boys the late Arthur and Lance his cherished Shih Tzu puppies.
He will be greatly missed by his cousin Melford Mullen and his wife Yvette. Cousin Linda Mullen-Cuomo and family, Sam, Joshua and Kayla Cuomo. Cousin Steven Mullen and his family, Paola, Brandon and Justin.
A special thank you to his closest friends and colleagues who shared special moments and who were a tremendous presence in his everyday life.
Cremation will be taking place as per his wishes. He will be resting with his family at Woodland Cemetery.
A graveside service will be taking place on Saturday January the 13th at 11:45 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery located at 493 Springbank Drive. www.woodlandcemetery.ca.
