Our mother passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, after a series of strokes on New Year’s Eve. Margaret is predeceased by her husband Raymond Wilson Taylor (1978), her son Paul Joseph Taylor (2001), her brother Gerald Joseph McIntyre (2010), and her great granddaughter Fiona Grace Kalaouzis (2016). Loving mother of Michael and Marilyn Taylor, Tom and Claudia Taylor, Robert Taylor and Carol Burns, Cathy and Bob Wilson, Martha and Brian Sinasac, Bill Taylor and Lisa Harris, Peggy and Frank Carlone, and Julie and Steve Dale. Adoring grandmother of 19: Sarah and Thomas, Ryan, Rachel and George, Laura and Tomasz, Mark and Jenna, Scott and Kayleigh, Kearon, Adrian, Stephanie, David, Rae, Natalie, Nicole, Alexander, Wren, Emily, Megan, Kiana, and Cameron. Proud great grandmother of Bray, Emery, Joshua, Matthew, Spencer, Cole, and Everett. Survived by her sister Mary McIntyre of Sarnia. Margaret was born and raised in London, the first born child of Agnes and Clarence McIntyre. She graduated in 1951 from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in London, and then settled in Windsor to work at Hotel Dieu Hospital and to start a family with Raymond. Our matriarch lives on through the legacy of her enormous family. Marg was strong and graceful, intelligent and witty. She loved being together as a family and showing pride in family achievements. Playing bridge with friends brought Marg great joy. She was a May Court volunteer and a charter member of the Widows and Widowers group. Margaret thrived in her final years at Kensington Court. If you desire, donations made to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family. We offer special thanks to the Neurology Team at WRH for compassionate care of our mother and family.
