Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home at the age of 82. Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick. Left with many fond and loving memories are her daughters Lynn (Dan), Leslie Ann (John) and sons Craig (Linda), Derek and Keith (Cindy), her cherished grandchildren, Zach, Caitlin, John Nicholas, Evan, Mary, Sheila, Patrick and Claire as well as her loving sister-in-law Sheila Hanlon, friends and relatives. Although illness took away a lot of things from our mother, it did not take away her tender and loving essence. Everyone will always remember her warm smile and her words of « you are gorgeous » and « I love you darling ». A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Cambridge Estates and St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for the exceptional care she received. Cremation has taken place with a mass to be dedicated in her memory at a later date. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
