Trever Marshall Smith passed away December 30, 2017 peacefully at home at the age of 49. Trever was born to James and Shirley Smith in Redvers Saskatchewan on June 29, 1968.
Trever is survived by his loving family; mother Shirley Smith, sister Crystal Smith (Kevin McDougall), nephew Ryker McDougall, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Trever is predeceased by his father James Smith; brothers Wade and Ward Smith; grandparents Alex and Helen Smith, Fred and Marg Rose; uncles George Smith, Bob Smith, Everett Jones; aunts Betty Stephen, Kaye Hodgson.
Trever attended and graduated high school at Gus Wetter School in Castor Alberta. Trever had many jobs throughout his life, but found his passion in Cooking, working in various restaurants during his time. Trever enjoyed reading, spending time with family and sports, especially hockey and football.
A Celebration of Trever’s life will be held on Friday January 12, 2018 at The Castor Legion Hall from 2pm to 4pm. A cemetery interment will be held at a later in spring/summer 2018.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
