Gail Roma MacDonald
1944-2017
Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western
Hospital, Alberton, with her loving family by her side, of Gail Roma
MacDonald, of Elmsdale, P.E.I., age 72 years. Born at Elmsdale on June
6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John and Naomi (nee Warren)
Adams.
Loving mother to Owen and his wife Julie of Summerside,
Dwayne and his wife Bonnie of Elmsdale, and Derwin and his wife Tracey
of Elmsdale. Cherished grandmother to Samantha and Zachary
MacDonald, Vanna Rose MacDonald, Christopher Aylward and Danae
MacDonald.
Dear sister to Ruby (Roy) Fraser of Northport, Lorraine
(Fraser) McKinnon of Kensington, and Eric (Sandra) of Burlington, Ont.
She is also survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Lillian Adams of
Rosebank, Lily Riley of Alberton, Marge Aukema of Toronto, Freda Adams
of Moncton and Brendon Wallace of Alberton.
She will be sadly missed by her two dear friends, Louise
Weeks of Hunter River and Myrtle Veno of Alberton, and by her many
nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by siblings, Thelma (late Harry) Wells,
Ivan, Roberta Wallace, Blanche (late Cleve) Hardy, Elmer, Alvin and
Walter.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours
Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning from the E.
Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, for funeral service at 11:00 a.m.,
Pastor Sheila McCrea MacCallum officiating. Interment in the Elmsdale
United Church Cemetery.
