It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rose at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 31, 2017 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Albert for 58 years. Loving mother of Albert, Richard, Dennis, Yvonne and Christopher. Cherished grandma of Christina, Tyler, Emily and great-grandma of Myles and Rowan. Dear sister of Barbara Williamson. Predeceased by brothers Gordon and Lorne and sister Diane. Special thanks to the staff of ICU and palliative care at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 3:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (Barton and Nash) on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 9 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Centre or Mission Services.
