Yvonne Mailman – 1934-2017

Yvonne May Mailman (Mailman), 83, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg
County NS, passed away on May 5 th
2017. Daughter of Stanley and Beatrice(Aulenback) Mailman.
The funeral service will be held at Chelsea Christian Fellowship
Church in Chelsea NS on May the 10 th
2017 at 2pm. Pastor George Dagley, assisted by Bruce Barkhouse will be
officiating. Visitation will be held at R.A. Corkum Funeral Home in
Wileville NS on Tuesday May 9 th
2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Committal will follow the funeral at South
Brookfield Union Cemetery, South Brookfield Queens County.
Yvonne May Mailman was born in Dawson Memorial Hospital in Bridgewater
NS on April 18, 1934. She graduated from Pleasant River School and
continued on to receive a Teachers Degree from Normal College. Yvonne
May Mailman was married to Richard Hank Mailman, She was a former
school teacher and staff member of North Queens Nursing Home until
retirement. Her hobbies included knitting, quilting, sewing and
ceramics. She was also actively involved in Chelsea Christian
Fellowship Church . Yvonne loved and enjoyed music, family and
friends. Yvonne is survived by her husband Richard
(Chelsea),Son Glen Selig(Anne) Beaverbank, Stepchildren, Christine
Woodworth (Greg) Chelsea, Ricky Mailman(Darlene) Chelsea, Gerald
Mailman (Sharlen) New Canada, Joey Mailman (Patricia) Edmonton, Murray
Mailman (Tanya) Branch LaHave, Lisa Ramey (Trevor) South Brookfield,
Karen Woodworth (Neil) Chelsea. Grandchildren, Kimberley (Ben) Webber,
Amanda Selig(Chris), Mitchell Woodworth (Sarah), Tim (Crystal)
Woodworth, Kimberley (Scott) Lynk, Michael (Amelia) Mailman, Martin
(Krystal) Mailman, Josh Mailman, Hannah Mailman, Kelsey Freeman
(Josh), Shelby Freeman (Brent), Kayla Freeman (Jake), Colin Woodworth
(Taylor), Letitia Woodworth (Devin). Great grandchildren, Grey Webber,
Jack Towriss, Paidra and Chayten Meisner-Woodworth, Whitney and
Marissa Whynot, Mya and Zoe Mailman, Landon and Bella
Mailman. Yvonne is preceded in death by Herbert L. Selig
(Late Husband), Stanley Mailman (father), Beatrice Mailman
(Aulenbeck)(Mother), brothers Frank and Edward in infancy.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by R.A. Corkum Funeral Home,

Tthe family requests no flowers. Donations can be made to the
Tri-District Fire Department and South Brookfield Union Cemetery,
South Brookfield Queens County.
