Harriet Yorke – Baudoux, 67of Rocklin, Pictou County passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2017 .
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Huntley and Alice (DeYoung) Best.
Harriet’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, friends and her dogs.
She had a passion for sewing, crafts; gardening and traveling. Harriet was an employee of RBC for 22 years, enjoying the friendship of her co-workers, “the Hens”.
Her heart was in the Magdalen Islands, taking a great interest in her genealogy.
She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grand mother. She was always there whenever we needed her. She will be always be remembered by her beautiful smile and her wit. We will miss you!
Harriet will be dearly missed by her husband of 35 years, Fraser Baudoux; daughters Susan McLean (James); Bedford; Angie Yorke (Jamie Aitken), Salt Springs; grand children Benjamin, Samuel and Malcolm McLean; brother Carl Best (Mary), Moncton and mother-in-law, Doris Baudoux, White Hill.
Harriet was predeceased by her first husband, Brian Yorke and her son Cory Yorke.
Visitations will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m. from Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Barrett Clair Johnson officiating. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or the Autism Society.
