Obituary for Winnifred Elaine Quigley
Winnifred Elaine Quigley passed away peacefully at Village of Smith Creek in Westbank B.C. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 96 years. She is survived by her son Daryl Wayne Goss, daughter Charlene MacPherson, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Art and Harry Iddiols, sister Lois McDonald, son Lorne Goss and daughter Wendy Wood. Winnie began life in St. John, N.B. Moving west to Calgary at the age 2. Calgary was home to her until the age of 83 when she moved to Kelowna, BC to be close to her daughter. Memorial Service will be held at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services (5502 – 2 Street SW) on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca).
