It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Baker on May 31, 2017 at the age of 91 years at Regina, Saskatchewan.
John was predeceased by his parents Joseph Herbert and Marie Anna; son Ron; siblings Albert, Wilfred, Rita and Lillian.
John will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters Pat (Richard) Flaman, Wendy (Paul) Meadowcroft and Cher (Bob) Bales; daughter-in-law Sandra McFarlen and Shirley Volk, mother of John’s children. John will also be remembered by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan, Derek, Corey, Melissa, Kelsey, Taylor, Jada and Brandon; and great grandchildren Kaylee, Davin, Jaime, Avary and Rawlins. John is survived by his brother Herb and his sister Anne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Dad will also be missed by his loving dog Cleo.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at the Pilot Butte Cemetery on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
with a CELEBRATION OF LIFE to follow from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at John’s house located at 140 4th Street in Pilot Butte.
