Peacefully at the Osgoode Care Centre, on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 William Ellis in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his best friend Marjorie (1999) and his son Carson (1989). Beloved father of Roseanne (Rick Hogeveen) of Russell, Beverly (Steven Gravelle) of Fitzroy Harbour and Barry (Michelle) of Calgary, AB. Loved grandpa of Maggie, Carson, and James Ellis, Adrian and Amanda Hogeveen, Patrick and Christopher Albert and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Fred of Sudbury and sister Mary (late Gerald Jessup) of Courtice, ON. Predeceased by brothers Charles and Elmer. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Osgoode Care Centre for the wonderful care and compassion. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. (between Scrivens Dr. and Metcalfe corner) on Monday February 27th from 10:00 – 11:30 am. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 11:30 am. Interment Hammond Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Osgoode Care Centre, 7650 Snake Island Rd. Metcalfe, ON K0A 2P0 would be appreciated.
