Obituary for William “Butch” Pigden
WILLIAM “BUTCH” PIGDEN (1940 – 2017)
Suddenly, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Butch Pigden of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda for 21 years. Proud and loving father of Bill (Donna) Pigden of Edmonton, Robert “Bob” Pigden of Oshawa, John Pigden of Niagara Falls, Tracy (Grant) Blair of Belmont and Wendy Fernanda of Tillsonburg. Dear grandfather of Bill, Rachel, Alyssa, Morgan and Sophia. Butch is also survived by his step children Adriana, Lydia (Will) and Guillermo (Diana) as well as his brother Rick and sister Karen. Butch was the Plant Manager of TRW in Tillsonburg for a number of years. At Butch’s request cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Butch’s memory can be made to the Cancer Research Foundation and would be appreciated by his family by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
