Obituary for Mr. William “Bill” Jack Korrall
WILLIAM KORRALL
Mr. William Jack Korrall, age 66 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, November 10, 2017.
Bill was born on March 16, 1951 in Fort William to Helen and Jack Korrall. He attended school locally and graduated from Confederation College with an Instrumenation Degree. Bill was a member of IBEW Local # 402 and was proud to serve as the Union Organizer for the past 5 years. He was especially excited about the new training facility that recently opened. Bill loved to travel and made several trips across North America. His favourite vacations were to Cuba, where he loved the culture and made many friends. Above all else, Bill’s family was most important to him and many happy times were shared together.
Bill is survived by his son Zachary and daughter Michelle; granddaughter Micheala; mother Helen; brother Al and sister Donna (Stewart) as well as his aunts Mary, Darlene, Elsie and Pauline and numerous cousins and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his father, Jack Korrall and brother David.
A Celebration of Life for the late Mr. William Korrall will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Tributes will be offered at 5:00PM. Interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date.
Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of William to Doctors Without Borders or the Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Care Group would be greatly appreciated.
