Wendall Lloyd Steeves
Wendall Lloyd Steeves, 70, of Berry Mills, passed away
unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of Luetta (Carroll) Steeves
of Moncton and the late Cecil Steeves.
Wendall was a long time employee (engine rebuilder) of Sumner
Engine Rebuilders. He enjoyed horses, fly fishing and playing guitar.
He also enjoyed socializing with his friends and spending time with
his family.
In addition to his mother, Luetta, Wendall will be sadly
missed by his children, Jill Matthews (Jake) of Berry Mills and Jeff
Steeves (Rhonda) of Bad Heart, AB; grandchildren, Nick (Monika),
Tyler, Alysha, Jeffery, Taylor, Telson and Colton; sister, Sandra
Cowie (Ralph) and brothers, Terry Steeves (Bev) and Danny Steeves
(Debbie); many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his loving
wife, Rosalie (Budd) Steeves (April 2015) and brother, Mike.
A gathering to celebrate Wendall’s life will be
held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Interment will be held in Birch Hill Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendall’s memory
