Obituary of Wayne Martin
Martin, Wayne, Jan. 1944- Nov. 2017 – Peacefully, surrounded by family after a lengthy journey through cancer into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at Ian Anderson Hospice on Saturday November 11, 2017. Husband and best friend of Shirley (Gingrich) Martin. Loving father of Doug & Cheryl, Steve & Michelle, Melissa & Shawn Dartsch and Les & Heather. Blessed to enjoy 13 grandchildren Gabe (fiance Alicia), Jessica, Grace, Rachel, Jordie, Maddie, Annie, Lilly, Thomas, William, Thea, Cole and Oliver. Brother to DorothyAnn (Joe) Leis, predeceased by his parents Sylvester and Annie Martin and brother David. We would like to thank the staff at Ian Anderson House for the exceptional care Wayne received. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Living Hope Church 290 Main St., S. on Wednesday November 15th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Limehouse Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Limehouse.
