Mrs. Vivian Lenore (Rusk) Lee of Gainsborough and formerly of Pierson, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2017 at the Gainsborough Health Centre at the age of 89.
Vivian was born in Ethelbert, MB on October 15, 1928 and was raised at Elmore, SK.
While working for the Royal Bank, Vivian met and married Bert Lee from Pierson in October of 1952. Together they farmed and raised a family, while being active in all community activities.
Vivian loved to cook, bake, entertain and most of all to clean things. She was the best Mom and Grandma that anyone could ask for.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bert in 2010; parents, Elmer & Mary Rusk; siblings, Earl (Rosella) Rusk, Marjorie (Earl) McFarlane, Eunice (Jimmy Marr) (Mike) Redshaw, Evelyn (Raymond) Smith, Lloyd (Gen) Rusk, Jim (Dot) Rusk and Helen (Don) Cameron; her in-laws, Murray (Doreen) Lee, Mac (Beryl) Lee, Jerry Drier, Bill (Toots) Lee and Betty (Stan) Kereliuk.
Vivian is survived by her son, Kirk; daughter, Karla (Raymond) Blerot and their sons, Dylan (Lindsay) and Tyler; great grandchildren, Valen, Jhace, and Layla; sister Glenna Cobbe; and sister-in-law, Winnie Drier.
Funeral arrangements will take place at a later date.
