Vincent J.
Crossman, 76, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.
Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, February 18, 2017, with
his family by his side. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late
John and Bertha (Carson) Crossman. Vince was employed with
Dominion Stores for over 40 years.
He
enjoyed softball, umpiring softball, darts and spending time with his
family, especially his grandchildren.
Vince will
be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Annie M. Crossman
(Surette) of Moncton; daughters, Louise Melanson (David) of Riverview
and Kimberly Goddard (Bruce) of Moncton; sons, John Crossman (Jackie)
of Moncton and Vince Crossman (Joanne) of Moncton; cherished
grandchildren, Jennifer Brison (Alain), Jeffrey Melanson (Sarah),
Jessica Crossman, Billy Goddard, Ryan Goddard, Emma Crossman and Lucas
Crossman; great grandchildren, Lilou and Arthur Brison; sisters, Della
Northcote of Moncton, Dorothy Tingley of Riverview, Myrtle Laird
(Austin) of Moncton; brothers, Arthur Crossman (Roberta) of Moncton
and Gordon Crossman (Garda) of Salisbury.
In addition
to his parents, Vince was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Crossman
and Grace Steele; brothers, Roy and George
Crossman.
The family
would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Dr. Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital Centre, Unit 4601 and the Palliative Care
Unit for the excellent care and compassion given to Vince during his
stay.
Visitation
will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00
pm. A service to celebrate and honor Vince’s
life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday,
February 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Scott Ryder
officiating. Reception to be held in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment to be
held at Stilesville Cemetery, in the
spring.

Vince’s memory can be made to Crohn’s and Colitis
