Veronica Hierlihy

It is with great sadness that we the
family announces the passing of our Dear Mother Veronica (Aube)
Hierlihy, 78, at home in Beresford, on Friday June 9, 2017, surrounded
by her family.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter
of the late Adelard and Marie (Landry) Aubé.
She is survived by her Children, Wanda
Hierlihy of Moncton, Sondra (Mark) Robichaud of Beresford, and Charles
Hierlihy (Roxanne) of Bathurst.
Grandchildren she adored tremendously
Ryan Robichaud (Samantha), Kevin Robichaud (Lisa) and Andrew Robichaud
(Kelsey).
Two Sisters; Irene Vienneau of
Bathurst, and Linda Girard (Jean-Guile) of Petit-Rocher and one
Brother, Melvin Aubé (Elianne) of
Bathurst
She will be deeply missed by her
Companion Paul Lavigne of
Bathurst.
She was predeceased by a
Brother-in-Law Roland
Vienneau.
Veronica was a gifted Artist,
Seamstress, Crafter, and Gardener. She adored watching the
humming birds on their feeders and feeding the chipmunks.
She was a wonderful Person with a positive outlook and lived life to
it fullest.
The family would like to extend a
heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Moncton and Bathurst Oncology
Dept. and special thanks to Dr. Harb of Moncton and Dr. Langlois and
Dr. Bouchard of Bathurst. Extra Mural Care and the Canadian
Red Cross of Bathurst for all their care and support during this
difficult time.
There will be no visitation at the
funeral home. A Funeral service to celebrate her life will
be held on Tuesday June 13,2017 at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart
Cathedral, Bathurst. Arrangements are in the care of the
Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
In memory of Veronica, donations can
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite
charity.
