Farrell, Vera at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday, December 29th, 2017 in her 85th year. Daughter of the late Kathleen and James Rivers. Beloved wife of the late John Anthony Farrell. Dear mother to Patricia Garvin (John), Jane Prud’homme (Roger) and John Farrell ( Katie). Sister of Rose Marie Rivers, Sheila Hunt (Benedict), Helen Whalen (late Ed), Sharon Cove (Ernie), sister in law Colleen Rivers and predeceased by Noreen Lynch (late Vince), Francis Rivers, Clair Rivers, Ever remembered by grandchildren Anne Garvin (Matt Anderson), Stephen, Ben and Natalie Garvin, Marc Prud’homme (Shawna), Nicole Prud’homme (Jon Driscoll), John and Neve Farrell her great grandchildren Lauren and Halle Anderson, Sierra Prud’homme, Ava Driscoll and predeceased by infant great grandson William Prud’homme.
Arrangements entrusted to the Burke Funeral Home (613-968-6968), 150 Church Street Belleville. Visitation on Thursday, January 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at 11 am. Interment St. James Cemetery.Donations to the Hastings & Prince Edward Lung Association or the Belleville General Hospital Oncology Department would be appreciated.
