It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Uwe Franz Brockel, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2017. Uwe was born on Friday July 13,1956 in Hamburg, Germany. He came to Canada at age 11 when the family immigrated, and after stops in Winnipeg, MB and Lanigan, SK, they finally settled in Sparwood.
