Surrounded by her family, the peaceful
passing of Treva Evelyn White of Quispamsis, NB, wife of the late
Gerald “Gerry” P. White, occurred on Friday, September 8,
2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Chipman, NB on October 5, 1936, she
was a daughter of the late Purdy and Hazel (Pyne) Doherty. Treva
enjoyed traveling with Gerry, and spending time with her family and
friends.
Survived by her son, Jeffrey White (Christy
Reeves) of Quispamsis, daughters; Joy White of Victoria, BC, and Carla
Harris (Bruce) of Quispamsis, sister Rita Robinson (Scotty) of
Chipman, NB, brothers; Murry Doherty (Carol) of Chipman, Dwight
Doherty (Kristine) of Moncton, NB, and Reid Doherty (Lauretta) of
Sussex, NB, grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Jesse, Madison, and
Jackson, great-grandchildren; Jaxson and Kileigh, special friends;
Claudia Small and Elsie Hanson, as well as several cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Besides her husband, Treva was
predeceased by her brother Blake Doherty.
The family would like to thank Staff of 4B
South and Palliative Care 3B North.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral
Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on
Tuesday, September 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be
held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday,
September 13 at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place at Red Bank United
Cemetery, Chipman, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Children’s Wish
Foundation.
