Trent “Bones” Bourke
August 4, 1990 – November 22, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son Trent. He is survived by his parents Dan and Jackie, and siblings Dax ( Jacquie), Garreth, Mariah and his true love Alycia Patterson.
His infectious smile, wit and blunt honesty will be sadly missed. Although a carpenter, Trent’s passion in life was rugby. He started playing at Maple Ridge Secondary School before joining the Ridge Meadows Bruins, where he infamously became known as “Bones”. Bones spent many years playing for the Abbotsford RFC, while also having the opportunity to play League rugby for the Abbotsford Griffins, Surrey Beavers, B.C. Bulldogs and then the Jamberoo Superoos in Australia. Through his hard work, perseverance, and dedication Trent was selected by Canada’s national team, the Canada Wolverines, a dream come true.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 16th, 2016 at Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Highway, Maple Ridge, B.C.
There’s still time to send flowers to the Celebration of Life at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on December 16, 2016.
