Obituary for Timothy Nagy
Timothy Joseph Nagy was born December 3rd, 1967 in Melville, Sk. to Joseph and Blanche Nagy. He was a rambunctious boy full of energy from day one. That energy and curiosity led to his life long love of mechanics. At a very young age, Tim along with his brothers could be found on the farm working on motors. If it ran, they made it go faster, if it didn’t run, they got it running. The ” getting it running” was always the biggest thrill for Tim. He was a genius when it came to mechanics and electrical systems. One of Mom’s favorite stories was when he took the whole electrical harness out of a vehicle and worked for hours going through all the wires and putting it back in. She could not believe that he could put that huge ball of wires back in working order. Anyone that knew him can imagine there was a lot of hand rubbing and clapping. This later led to one of his greatest accomplishments, his Red Seal of Heavy Duty Mechanics.
Tim worked at his profession in the mining industry. This took him to mines at Rabbit Lake,Sk. Red Lake, ON, Snow Lake, Flin Flon, Mb, and northern BC.
He made many friends along the way, not surprisingly, with his quick wit, generosity and helping hands. His generous nature was known to all, and at times it was a fault as he would go without to give to others. His big heart barely fit in his chest. He loved a good practical joke and was always the first one in for a water fight.
Hunting, fishing, sledding,(actually leaned over watching his track spinning) quadding ,cooking and anything outdoors were his hobbies .His pride in his Hungarian heritage often led to his love of cooking. Cabbage rolls and Poppy seed Kifli were among his favorites. He loved spending time with family and friends and was always in for a wiener roast. He loved children and cherished any time he could spend with his nieces and nephews. He was so proud of all of them.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, brother-in-law Tom Reid, nephew Clayton Nagy and leaves to mourn his passing his sisters Jo-Ann(Stan) Graves, Kathy Reid(Randy), Claudette(Wayne) Pachal, and Karen Nagy and brothers Dennis, David(Pat), Kirk, and Mark(Donna). Also many precious nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Rest in Peace dear brother. You are finally free. Love you.
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes, filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things
we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time you think of me,
I know I’ll miss you too.
When tomorrow starts without me,
don’t think we’re far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I’m right there in your heart.

Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Timothy
