Timothy (Tim) J. Meunier
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the
passing of Timothy J. (Tim) Meunier, 57, of Moncton, on Tuesday, July
4, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, after
a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born March 26, 1960, Tim was
the son of the late Lionel Meunier and the late Evelyn
Gayton.
Tim enjoyed his career as an Educational Assistant with
Anglophone East School District, most recently at Forest Glen School
in Moncton, after having worked in various schools in the greater
Moncton area.
Tim also enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Caissie
Cape, with friends and family. He also loved working in his
garden.
Tim is survived by his loving partner, Michel ( Mike)
LeBlanc; his son, Andrew; his daughters, Sarah (Jeremy Simpson) and
Jennifer (Chris Richard); his grandsons, William and Logan; his
brothers, Floyd (Odette) Meunier, Paul (John) Meunier-Collins; his
nephew, Jason (Sophie) Meunier; his great niece, Catherine, all of
Moncton, and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Lionel in 2015; his mother,
Evelyn 1975 and his brother, John in 1955 and his loving 4-legged
companion Charlie in 2016.
Tim also has an extended family of in-laws who welcomed him
with open arms. Marc-André (Mireille) LeBlanc and their
children Maika and Raphaëlle, Rèmi (Venessa)
Leblanc and their sons Loic and Cédric, Damien (Janie)
LeBlanc and their children Aurélie and Arnaud, Julie
(Bruno) Pondant and their children Emma, Amélie and
Olivier, whom he loved as his own children.
The family will receive condolences at Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with visitation from 2-4
and 7-9 on Monday. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July
11, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev.
Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception
Centre following the service. Interment will be at Lakeville Cemetery
at a later date.
