Passed away at LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph on
Friday, February 17, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Loving
husband of the late Patricia (Feb.16, 2017). Dear father of
Lee Joyes and Mark Hayden (Carol). Grandfather of Nathan (Sarah),
Jennifer (Jeff), Tom (Eyrnn), Heather (Derek), Sarah (Ryan) and
Phillip. Great-grandfather of Logan, Ethan; Liam, Gavin,
Callum; Lauryn, Kaitlyn, Matthew; and Desmond. Thomas will also be
fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He is
predeceased by his brother Bud (Dot) and by his sisters Joyce Lynch
(Frank) and Mary Rourke (Geoff). Thomas was an active member
of Guelph Lodge A.F & A.M. No. 258 G.R.C., Past Master and
Grand Steward. He was employed by Bell Canada for 37 years
and was a former Leader and District Staff Member with The Boy
Scouts. Friends may call at St.
George’s Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich Street,
Guelph on Wednesday, February 22,
2017 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment at Farnham
Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions to St.
George’s Anglican Church or the Masonic Foundation would be
