Obituary of Tena Fulmer
Peacefully, at Beattie Manor, Wardsville, Christena “Tena” Mary Fulmer (née Morrison) passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Tena recently celebrated 100 years of life fulfilled by loving family, friends, hard work, faith and wit. Born in Mosa Township on July 18, 1917. She was the daughter of Thomas Morrison and Janet (née Barr). Predeceased by her beloved husband Arrett Leroy Fulmer (1996) and by her sons Leroy (2016), Morris (2005) and Allen (2006). Loving mother-in-law of Elizabeth Fulmer of Strathroy (late Leroy), Peggy Fulmer of Rodney (late Morris) and Penny Fulmer of London (late Allen). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Ross (Jill) Fulmer, Murray (Alma) Fulmer, Jamie (Jennifer) Fulmer, Janice (Paul) Van Breda, Jason Fulmer, Shari Fulmer (Steve Hunt) and Alana (Mark) Bresett. Cherished great-grandmother of Megan, Shawn, Ramsey, Zach, Josh, Jacob, Emma, Tristan, Tyson and Tia and great-great-grandchildren Clara and Isla. Survived by her sister Frances Lutchin. Predeceased by her siblings Margaret, Katherine, Janet, Jim, Rita, Tena, Bessie, Eva, Gertie, Florence (June) and Enabell. Relatives and friends will be received at DENNING’S OF RODNEY, 212 Furnival Road, Rodney (519-785-0810) on Wednesday, November 1st from 6-8 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment in Rodney Cemetery. Donations in memory of Tena by cheque to the West Elgin Daffodil Society-Auxiliary Cancer or Calvary United Church, Rodney would be appreciated by the family.
