Obituary of Ted Butler
Butler: Ted A. passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in his 94th year. Ted was a proud lifetime resident of Dawn Township, being born to the late Alonzo and Elizabeth (Huffman) Butler on June 13, 1923. He leaves his loving wife of 70 years, Marguerite (Leeson) Butler along with his three children Lonnie (Lois Predeceased), Tom and Cyndy (Ken). Ted was a proud grandfather to Shawn, Chris (Jen), Jeff (Karissa), Joel (Leslee), Aaron (Laura), Toni (Craig) and Brad (Ashley). Loving great-grandfather to Nickolas, Emily, Gregg, Devon, Chloe, Blake, Nathan and Adalyn. Dear brother of Helen McGuire, Bryce, Lee and Richard Butler. Predeceased by sister Mary and brothers Bob and George. Friends and family will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. The I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 196, Florence will have a service at 10:45 a.m. Interment in Shetland Cemetery with reception to follow at Florence Community Centre. If desired, donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services, Newbury or Faith Trinity United Church, Shetland.
