Sylvie Paulette (Pitre) Yarde
Sylvie Paulette Yarde, 40, of Riverview, passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Born
in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of Jeannine (Carrier) Heyliger
(Ricardo – stepfather) and Michel Pitre (birth father).
Sylvie was Customer Service Representative with Rogers
Communications Inc. and attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church. She
loved music, dancing and singing, reading, going for long drives,
hiking the Dobson Trail with her dogs, caring for her family and
spending precious time with her daughter, Kaitlynn, who was everything
to her.
In addition to her parents, Sylvie will be sadly missed by
her daughter, Kaitlynn Yarde at home; brother, Robert Heyliger of
Riverview; grandparents, Violet LeBlanc of Dalhousie and Teddy
Heyliger of Barbados; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended
family members. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Monica
Heyliger of Barbados.
A very special thank you is expressed to Aunty Tony Wasson
and to a very special friend, Julie Landry, who walked by
Sylvie’s side every step of her difficult journey.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A
Service to celebrate and honor Sylvie’s life will be held at
the Moncton Wesleyan Church Life Centre, 945 St. George Blvd., on
Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor David Way
officiating. Reception following the service.
