KEITH, Sylvia Marie (McMullin) – passed away peacefully on August 25, 2017 at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre, Eastern Passage with family at her side. Sylvia was born June 6, 1928 in North Sydney. Always a clever student, Sylvia graduated at the top of the class from nursing at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, North Sydney. Shortly thereafter, she boarded the train to Montreal where she worked as a surgical nurse at Montreal General Hospital. At the urging of a friend, Sylvia later went to work for Trans Canada Airlines as a stewardess, based out of Moncton, New Brunswick.
