Passed away peacefully with family members by her side on March 5, 2017, at her home, at the age of 80.
Loving wife of the late Jack Wixson (2009). Beloved mother of Glenda Wilson (Randy Wilson) of Timmins, Janice Lessard (late Rene 2012) Monteith, Sharon Dumas (Norm Bruce) Timmins, Mark Wixson (Kathy) Timmins, and the late Ross Wixson (1976).
Cherished Grandmother of Allan, Sherise, Sacha, Tanya, Rhena, Jessie, Angela, Daniel, John, Ross, Melissa and Johnathan.
Great Grandmother of 11.
She is survived by her sister Ruby Levigne, Festerton, Ontario.
Pre-deceased by her brothers, Marshal, Arthur, Howard and her sisters, Fran, Audrey and Marg.
Sue was a long standing and active member of Timmins Pentecostal Church. She along with her late husband sat on the first committee for the Timmins Handi-Trans and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Timmins.
Sue was an inspiration to all who knew her. She impacted the lives of countless people with her sheer determination to live life to its fullest. Her compassion for others and willingness to “literally” lend a hand is part of her legacy. Let’s celebrate her life as she would have wanted , full of laughter, joy and perseverance.
Funeral Service will be held at the Pentecostal Church on Airport Road on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the St- Laurent Cemetery in Ramore in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Diabetes Canada would greatly be appreciated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the
