Mr. Steve Yakubovich
At the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday November 22nd, 2017, Mr. Steve Yakubovich of Florence in his 82nd year. Cherished son of the late Harry and Mary Yakubovich. Beloved husband of Myrna. Loving father of Darlene Groenenberg and her husband John of Dresden and their children Andy (Colleen) and Brad (Sarina); Susan Rickman and her husband Jeff of Florence and their children Chris (Leslie) and their children Bailey and Trent, and Amy (Justin) McLellan and their children Brianna, Mykayla and Emma; and Tammy Elliott and her husband Scott of Shetland and their children Ryan (Amanda) and their son Owen, and Dayna (Glynn). Predeceased by his step father Ilie Towstiuc. Brother of Anne Bodkin and her husband Don, and the late Phil Yakubovich, and step brother of Jack Towstiuc and his wife Irene. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. W. Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Monday November 27th visiting from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service will be held. Interment St. Matthew’s Cemetery.
