It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanislav Travnik of Devon on August 6, 2017 at the age of 86 years.
Stanislav is survived by his first wife, Jeanette Malnar; second wife, Marta Travnik; and his third wife, Francisca Berlot; three sons, Daniel (Arlene) of Leduc, Stan (Zeljka) of Leduc and Rado (Pauline) of Edmonton; five grandchildren, Nialle (Vanessa), Joshua, Levi, Petar and Noah; five great-grandchildren, Liam, Ada, Theo, Philip and Luke; and brother, Hendrik (Toncka) of Slovenia. Predeceased by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday, August 14 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Friday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821 – 96 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8.
