LAGASSE, Simone (née Chretien) – Mrs. Simone Marie-Alice Lagasse at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday April 16, 2017. She was 94. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Lagasse. Loving mother of Monique Willard (Stuart) and Diane Bouchard (Marcel). Cherished grandmother of four grandchildren Melanie (Martin), Shawn, Chanelle, Shane (Melodie) and great-grandmother of Eugenie. Predeceased by her parents Philias and Lidia (née Marin) Chretien. Predeceased by one son Roger, two brothers Joseph and Jean-Paul and two sisters Marie-Anges Carriere and Gilberte Mondoux (Arthur). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home – Boulerice Centre, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday from 9-10:15 AM The Mass of Resurrection Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in St. Felix de Valois Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, with Rite of Committal to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
