Sigrid Christine McEachern
Sigrid C. McEachern, 52, of Moncton, passed away peacefully
at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Monday,
July 31, 2017. Born in Hamilton, ON, she was the daughter of Gisela
Girgil of Ontario and the late John Horst.
Sigrid attended the Moncton Wesleyan Church and enjoyed
nature, biking and going to the Moncton Market. A caring, loving
person, she was always very supportive and encouraging to her
cherished children, family and anyone she met.
Sigrid will be sadly missed by her daughter, Melissa
Choudhary (Kapil); sons, Jonathan McEachern and Josh McEachern
(Betty); much anticipated grandchild due in January 2018; sisters,
Viola Horst, Monica Banks (Merle) and Jackie Dyson; brother, John
Horst; many nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Service to
celebrate and honour Sigrid’s life will be held at the
Moncton Wesleyan Church Life Centre, 945 St. George Blvd., on Friday,
August 4, 2017 at 3:00 pm with Pastor David Way officiating.
Refreshments in the Church Atrium following the service. Interment
will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
