Obituary for Sieteske “Sita” Sloterdyk
SLOTERDYK, Sieteske “Sita”- Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday October 19, 2017, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Pieter Sloterdyk (1989). Loving mother of Dorothy “Leena” Giles of Collingwood, and Ria (David) Jenkins of Ayr. Proud grandmother of Jenna (Dakota)Harding, Laura, Amanda, and Daniel Jenkins. Dear sister to Wieka Beerda. Predeceased by her brothers Okke and Wietsa Douma, and her sister Janke V.D. Ploeg. Sita was a member of the Covenant Christian Reformed Church and a proud volunteer at the V.O.N Sakura house in Woodstock and the Palliative Care Unit at the Woodstock Hospital. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday October 25th, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave, Woodstock, on Thursday at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the V.O.N.
