Obituary of Shorty Atkinson
Shorty Atkinson, a long time resident of Goodfare, Alberta passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 86 years.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Beaverlodge, Alberta.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Sylvanus Omali will officiate. Interment will be held in the Hythe Cemetery following the service. Friends are invited to further share this day with Shorty’s family at the Hythe Legion following the interment.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Shorty to the Hythe Legion, PO Box 626 Hythe, AB T0H2C0.
