Obituary
Our loving mother and wife, Sheila Ann Balash passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 14, 2017.
Sheila will be sadly missed by her husband George; her children, Tim (Shannon and step-granddaughter Izabella), and Tracy (Doug).
Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ruth. She is survived by her sister, Lucille (Lloyd).
Sheila exemplified the spirit and resilience of women, making many sacrifices on behalf of her family for a better life. In her final years, she found strength from other women in her life including her dear friend, Linda, her Wednesday morning coffee friends and the wonderful women from ladies night at Dorchester Golf Club.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, 10826 62 Ave NW, Edmonton, on Thursday, April 20, 2017. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church, on Friday, April 21, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St, Anthony’s Cemetery.
