We, the family of Sara (MacKay) Bishop, 58, regret to announce her passing on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on November 15, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Urenia (Pinksten) MacKay.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Bishop, sister Lauretta (Ira) Balderson, PEI, her aunt Jean (Don) Crouse, Sydney Mines, Jeremy’s father Jerome, Seaview Drive, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sara was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Billy Johnston.
There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
