Lovingly Remembered
On November 9, 2017, Sandra Dawn McGinnis of Edmonton passed away surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy battle with leukemia, at the age of 71.
Sandra is survived by her children, Cherie (Rusty) Demkier, Todd (Christine) Carrier, Tina (Simon) Slater, and Tania Maas Geesteranus; 11 grandchildren, Teague, Ryan, Matt, Colton, Shayla, Hana, Dylan, Daniel, Cole, Abbi, and Brooke; her brother, Grant (France) Corriveau; 2 sisters, Carolyn (Taylor Campbell) Corriveau and Shelley Corriveau; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Maxine and Arthur Corriveau, and her first husband, George Carrier.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at her viewing on Wednesday, November 15 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.
A Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Friday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home. If desired, donations in memory of Sandra may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
