STIDWILL, Ruth Gertrude – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Saturday November 4, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Stidwill. Daughter of the late Herman and Maude Kirkey (née Durochie). Loving mother of Karen (Fanis), late Frank, Kirk (Frances), John, Lorne, Gordon (Carol), Robb, Kent and Grant (Sunnie). Caring grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Resting at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario where visitation will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 434 Second Street West, Cornwall on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
