With family by her side, at the North Shore Health Network, Blind River on , Monday, February 27, 2017. Ruth Harper of Iron Bridge in her 62nd year, beloved wife of Chester Harper for 41 years. Loving mother of Virginia Irvine ( Jeff ) of Cambridge. Special Grandma to Alex Irvine. Dear daughter of The Late Alex and Hazel McAulay. Dear sister of Jack McAulay ( Paula ), Irvin McAulay ( Dianne ), Cathy Warnock ( Doug ) and the late Brian McAulay. Dear sister-in-law of Enid Degagne ( Russell ), Harvey Harper ( Diane ), Judy Jensen ( Peter ), Beckie Trivers ( Roger ) and Murray Harper ( Darlene ). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Thursday March 2, 2017 from 7 to 9pm and on Friday March 3, 2017 from 9am until time of service at 10am with The Reverend Linda Stemp officiating. Spring interment in Carlyle Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully accepted.
