At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on August 17, 2017,
Rosie Flora Cook of Pennfield NB. Born in Back Bay NB on October 8,
1941 she was a daughter of the late Eldorado and Flora Cook. The last
surviving member of her immediate family, Rosie is survived by her
family at Collingwood Rest Home in Pennfield and a few distant
cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
siblings: Cecil, Lottie, Gordon and Lillian.
Rosie had resided at the Collingwood Rest Home for the last 28 years.
She had a heart of gold and only saw the good in others. She was an
animal lover who enjoyed the company of all animals, especially the
resident dog, Baby. She loved jewelry of all kinds and even on the
average day could often be found wearing multiple pieces. Rosie’s
favourite time of year was Christmas. She truly enjoyed her visits
from Santa and loved exchanging gifts with her Collingwood Family.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. A graveside service will be held at the
St. George Rural Cemetery, St. George NB on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with
Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. In Rosie’s memory, donations to
Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
