Obituary of Ronald McRae
McRAE, Ron (Diesel). Ronald William McRae passed away on November 19, 2017 at Douglas Memorial in Fort Erie at the age of 60. Ron fought a long, hard battle with cancer and is now at peace. He will be sadly missed by Melanie Lampman and his three sisters Wanda Beifuss, Wilma Duquette and Joanne Benson. Ron McRae leaves behind his children Jennifer Best, Leane Colombe, Ron Lamoureux, Amanda McRae, Kelsey Lee and son, best friend and riding buddy Brandon McRae. He is also survived by grandchildren Taylor, Tyler and Mya and nieces and nephews Rob, Jason, Sherri, Paul, Curt and Jake. Ron was a long-haul truck driver for many years. His love for riding his Harley and being surrounded by his great friends and family kept him going throughout his battle. Cremation has taken place. The McRae family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence Street on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
