Died peacefully surrounded by family on December 27, 2017 at Extendicare Tecumseh, at 83 years of age. Beloved husband of Arlene, with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage. Loving dad of Richard (Helen), Lorraine Goddard (Bill), Sandra Marchand (Dave), Christine Lehoux-Ford (Steven), and Lawrence (Joanne). Dear grandpa of Michelle (Bobby), Gregory (deceased), Jennifer (CJ), Brad (Sara), Shawn (Rebecca), Ryan, Jacqueline, Kyle, Justin, Ethan, Joshua, Chelsea and great-grandpa of 12 great-grandchildren. Romeo was the second youngest of eleven children born to Davila and Zénaide Lehoux. Survived by a sister Cecile Gosselin in Quebec and Francois Lehoux in Windsor . Also survived by sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Romeo was a proud auto mechanic who enjoyed being in his garage and will be remembered for his sense of humour, hard work and willingness to lend a helping hand.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Extendicare Tecumseh, Riverside House for their care and friendship over the years.
As your expression of sympathy, mass offerings can be made in Romeo’s name.
On Saturday, December 30, 2017 family and friends are invited to meet at St. John Vianney Church ( 385 Dieppe St ) for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
