Romano, Joseph ‘Joe’ – peacefully with his family at his side, at his residence on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 in his 69th year. Son of the late Benigio and Armida Romano. Beloved husband of Barbara Romano (nee-Cassidy). Dear father of Derek Romano and Cody (Anne) Romano both of Belleville. Dear papa of Karleigh, Makayla, Brianna, Isabella and Amelia. Brother of Fulvio (Penny) Romano, and Dave Romano of England and remembered by nephew Brett and niece Angie. Son in law of Dorothy Cassidy of Belleville. Funeral arrangements in the care of Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, (613-968 2273). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7th , 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 8th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church (North Park Street) Belleville. Inurnment at St. James Cemetery. If desired, Memorial donations to Q.H.C. Belleville General Hospital Foundation, Oncology Department, would be appreciated.
