It is with great sadness that the family announces his death at home in Sudbury, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Omer and of the late Lea (née Fortin) Bertrand. Loving husband of Denise Morin (née Pezet) of Sudbury. Dear step-father of Guy Morin of New Market and Lise Lemieux (Roger) of Sudbury. Dear brother of Germaine Johnston (late Stewart) of Manitoba, Rolande Scanlan (late Marcel) and Françoise Blaseg (late Leonard) both of Sudbury, Gerard (Pauline) of Kapuskasing, Paulette Rocheleau (late Ernest) of Val Caron and Pauline Thompson (Eddy) of Val Thérèse. Predeceased by his brothers Maurice (late Audette) and Henri. Sadly missed by his step-grandchildren Tara Lanteigne (Jordan) of Val Thérèse, Andrew Morin, Martine Lemieux (fiancé Kevin) and Justin Lemieux all of Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass to be celebrated Friday January 27th 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury.
