On May 27, 2017, Roger Rouleau of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 68 years.
Roger is survived by his sister, Sister Lynn, Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada; aunts, Gertrude Lachance and Dorothy Saunders; several cousins and numerous friends. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Art and Bertha Rouleau.
Special thanks to Reg Ross, Rachelle and Michael Steward and the staff of Unit 43 Palliative Care at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital for their gentle care and support of Roger.
Prayer Service Friday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue.
Funeral Mass Saturday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 11828 – 85 Street, Edmonton, with interment following the service at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Morinville, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roger’s name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail N.W., Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8 or to a charity of one’s choice.
