Robert William Laskey
1938-2017
The family of
Robert William Laskey are deeply saddened by his passing on July 21,
2017 at St Joseph’s Hospital. Born on March 17, 1938 in Saint John, to
Albert and Alice Laskey. Bob is survived by his loving wife Louise;
sons Bruce, Jerry and Brad (Cathy) Laskey of Saint John; daughter Lori
Ouellette of Toronto and predeceased by his beloved daughter Margaret
Laskey; grandchildren Christina, Michael, Kyle, Brandon, Malcolm,
Tyler, Nathan and Alicia; 7 great grandchildren; sister Lois Higgins;
and several nieces and
nephews.
Bob had a larger
than life personality and loved to laugh and joke. He spent most of
his working years selling insurance for Prudential and London Life. He
and Louise loved travelling and were avid dancers. Bob’s favourite
pastime was meeting friends for a coffee or spending time with his
loved ones and pets. In his younger years, he enjoyed his work with
victim services and his involvement with the Lion’s Club.
Resting at Brenan’s
Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (634-7425),
with visiting on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A
funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25,2017 at 2 pm from
Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
